One Life; Phase Two: Movies

WELCOME!

After nearly 30 years of parenting (20 of them as a single-parent), my five children have all become emancipated and gained their independence. I have a clean slate, in a manner of speaking. As a completely single adult, the world truly is my oyster. For the first time in my life, I can do whatever I want.

But the questions remain... What will I do? Where will I go? Will I find the love that has been elusive up to this point? Will I even look? Will I devote my life to my adult children and their families? Will I stay in the comfort-zone of my home-locale, or leave for lands afar? New York City? Los Angeles? New Orleans? Minneapolis? Will I take the well-worn path, or the road less-travled? My options are limitless. I can move to Hawaii, or the South of France. Perhaps I will take the world...by bicycle!

What I'm Reading...

I've been struggling with "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" for what seems like an eternity. It's not that it's poorly written. I just find it...boring, frankly. I thought perhaps I need to get further into the book and it would pick up, but I was better than half-way through at that point. One of these days I'll finish it. If the book doesn't improve markedly, though, I'll be skipping the rest of the trilogy and will go right to the three movies. I've no comment on "The Shack" yet.
